Microfoni eccellenti sia in sede live che studio. Ottimi dettaglio, profondità e sound. Pensati per la microfonazione delle batterie acustiche, li ho comunque usati con successo su chitarre, bassi, ottoni e qualsiasi strumento abbia bisogno di microfoni dinamici. E' molto importante distinguere i timbri dei vari microfoni che compongono il set: il D2 è estremamente versatile su tutti i pezzi di un drum set, amplificatori da chitarra e da basso, il D4 ottimo sempre per basso, chitarre molto squillanti e ottoni, il D6 è definitivo per ogni tipo di strumento in cui le basse sono necessarie.
Come costruzione i microfoni sono molto solidi (l'unico a cui bisogna stare veramente attenti è il D6, paradossalmente più delicato).

I've been using this mic set for about two years already in studio to record drums and sometimes on stage (local punk/metal gigs). The sound they give is just fantastic! The manufacture says that all mics are already pre-equalized so you should get a punchy and powerful sound right out of them without any effects and that's really great feature and it just works! It makes you your work simpler when you are making a mix, it's easier to make your drums sound powerful and aggressive. On the stage you don't even need to adjust EQ on the mixing desk - the kick sounds punchy, the snare cuts the mix, toms are full of volume. So I really satisfied with that product, IMO this s the best drum mic set on the market. Before I used Sennheiser 600 set and sometimes Shure drums sets but found Audix really better.
