Il MXR Vintage Phase 90 presenta il classico design con il logo in corsivo. È con questo pedale che Eddie Van Halen ha dato un tocco speciale al suo leggendario sound da solista, soprattutto nei primi album come nell'assolo di “Eruption”. A differenza del diffuso phaser con logo a blocchi, qui è stato utilizzato il circuito originale, quindi il phaser suona esattamente come lo conosciamo da Eddie, Jimmy Page e David Gilmour (basti pensare a "Shine On You Crazy Diamond").

Naturalmente, rimane un solo controllo per impostare la velocità del phasing, mentre tutto il resto è predefinito in modo tale da ottenere un effetto davvero piacevole e mai invadente. Un phaser classico che porta nell'iperspazio!

Amazing Phaser better than the original from the 70s

I bought this phaser for my fender rhodes so this reviews is only for keyboard players ;) I have several phaser vintage or not but I sold my 70s phase 90 years ago and I never found a replacement. Until today. This re-pro is stunning, same feeling maybe even little deeper. I love Donald Fagen sound and this unit added to my rhodes' rig is just perfect. Built like a tank! Only cons is the only batteries powering, but that was the same in the original vintage version so watch out, buy a lot of batteries since is a sucker!!! Thanks MXR I'm happy

Superb reissue!

Beautiful sounding phase pedal. Very basic controls - just one knob - but that's all you need. Used by many of the greats, including Jimmy Page. This pedal is essential if you want to cover virtually anything by Thin Lizzy - it's all over their albums!

A minor gripe is the absence of a DC jack. I know it's a vintage reissue, & it was absent on the original, but Dunlop could have used a little common sense here, as unlike their fuzz faces, the Phase 90 sounds equally as good with a power supply as with a battery.

Only speed can be adjusted. No activity LED. Underwelming features.
So what's to like about this pedal? Well, its sound of course :-) I really like this phaser pedal after having owned many others. It seems to add some very subtle grit and character as well. I use it both on guitar and keyboards.
