Put them on a 5 string jazz bass, haven't changed strings since. Aged like a fine wine, never fail to sit just where I want in the mix despite my bare minimum production skills. I use them for jazz, soul, R&B and a bit of funk here and there. Would recommend to anyone!

Spiele schon eine ganze Weile LaBella-Flats auf meinem Fender Precision und bin vom Klang völlig überzeugt. Deshalb hab ich sie mir jetzt auch mal für den Yamaha 5-Saiter geholt. Das Ergebnis ist wie erwartet: einfach nur warm und soulig.
Nur im Aktiv-Modus bin ich noch etwas am kämpfen, da neigt der Bass jetzt etwas zum Dröhnen, zumindest im Probenraum. Aber das bekomme ich schon hin.
Solange ich nicht irgenewann auf meine alten Tage doch nochmal zum Metal-Genre wechsle, bleibe ich jetzt erstmal dabei ;)
