Harley Benton R-446 Plum Metallic

Ho comprato questa chitarra dopo aver preso una Harley Benton a 8 corde, quest'ultima mi è piaciuta talmente tanto che ho deciso di dare una possibilità anche ad una 6 corde. speravo nella stessa qualità della 8 corde e sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso di vedere che Harley Benton non solo ha soddisfatto le mi aspettative ma le ha addirittura superate! volevo prendere una chitarra in più per utilizzarla in drop D e avere uno strumento "da battaglia" ma devo dire che regge il confronto con chitarre il cui prezzo è assai maggiore. Le finiture sono TOP, i pickup suonano molto bene rapportati al costo complessivo, il manico è davvero scorrevole e non ci sono imperfezioni di tasti/sbavature, lo switch a 5 posizioni le manopole danno la sensazione di avere qualcosa di premium, le meccaniche tengono molto bene l'accordatura il tutto ricordandosi che la chitarra costa 160€, è una follia! l'unico cambio che ho fatto è solamente un set di corde nuovo perché mi trovo bene solo con earnieball, ma per gusto personale, non perché le corde già in dotazione non fossero ottime per suonare fin da subito. la chitarra è arrivata già settata... che dire, non riesco a capire come faccia Harley Benton ma continuano a superarsi e a superare le mie aspettative! il rapporto qualità prezzo, al momento è imbattibile.

The other day, on the advice of a comrade, I bought this mega-device. Having received the parcel in my hands, breathless in anticipation, I opened the box.
My respects to the appearance. The designer of this product was a real colossus. The rich and deep color makes the eyes rejoice, although it differs in the photographs due to scaling and approximation (Still beautiful). Having picked it up, I appreciated (in my opinion) the rather small weight of the instrument. The frets are polished, well rounded and do not scratch your hands. There are no complaints about the factory strings, I will only write that they SOUND good, my experience is not yet enough to compare with cool branded ones.
The tuning pegs are even, they turn smoothly, do not crunch or creak.
The 5-position switch does not cause any complaints, like all the other fittings, it switches clearly and without problems.
The bridge is very pleasant to the touch. After adjusting, no screws stick out during play, hands do not scratch anything - not everyone makes such neat parts these days.

I can't really evaluate the sound, but with the available equipment, the description is nothing other than "Top for its price", I can't

I am happy with the purchase

Just received mine this morning and I'm blown away. First of all, looking at the photos on the site there's a couple worrying things. 1. There's visible glue along the neck under the binding and 2. The "veneer" on the headstock isn't flush to the wood close to the nut. Much to my surprise the finish on mine is flawless.

Pros
- The paint finish is flawless and the colour is great!
- The neck has a lovely satin finish and feels great to play.
- The switch and pots feel good and solid but there's a but further down.
- Tuners are solid and seem to hold tune well.
- Have yet to test pickups but I'll be swapping them out anyway.

Cons
- Expected this but the nut isn't great. As they state it is plastic but mine also isn't cut correctly and over hangs the side of the neck and lines the top E too close to the edge because of this. Easy enough to fit a better nut though so not to bothered.
- Frets are good but a couple of sharp edges but nothing a little file and polish work wont fix.
- As mentioned the pots feel solid but having opened it they are cheap mini pots (Expected of course) so worth upgrading.

Bare in mind this guitar is 126 pound and it definitely punches above that price but it is still 126.
