Tried them, loved them!

Initially I only tried Pyramid strings because, at the price Thomann were asking, I felt that I wouldn’t be losing out by much if I didn’t like them. Now, I buy them every time I shop with Thomann.

The strings are great quality and sound excellent. I’ve never had any issues with tuning stability or breakage and find these strings to last a decent length of time.

I would recommend any musician looking for strings to consider Pyramid. I’ve never been disappointed with these strings and I’ve used them on acoustic, electric and bass.

An experiment

Bought them as an experiment to try different strings. They sound very articulate, last quite long, and are rather grippy. Not very smooth. So keep that in mind. Sound wise - a surprising result, very clear sounding strings. And the price is good too. I recommend to give these a try

Son unas cuerdas Made in Germany, creo que con esto digo ya bastante. Son unas cuerdas de acero con baño de niquel que tienen un tacto muy bueno y un gran sonido. Desde hace un par de años sólo utilizo estas cuerdas, son un gran fan de las pyramid.

Solo he roto una cuerda en 2 años y fue por culpa de un stop-bar demasiado bajo.

Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Habe die Pyramid Saiten für mich entdeckt und dieser spezielle Satz kam auf eine Les Paul. Seitdem tönt sie nur noch Les Pauliger. Und es ist eben ein gutes Zeichen, wenn man die Hülle, in der die Saiten waren, nimmt und in den Gitarrenkoffer schmeisst, damit man nicht vergisst, was das jetzt für eine Marke war. Denn diese Gitarre hat ihre Saiten gefunden. Der Sound klingt wirklich ausgesprochen rockig, der Humbucker spricht sehr schön rauchig und nicht zu "rasenmäherartig" darauf an, obwohl man auch Richtung Metal-Core gehen kann. Die Gitarre von "Whats up" von den 4 Non Blondes habe ich damit nachgespielt und hatte das Gefühl: Die Saiten sind genau das, was mir zu diesem Sound noch gefehlt hat. Schön auch die Langlebigkeit. Halten wirklich was aus! Sehr zufrieden.
