Orange Rockerverb 100H MKIII

This is a unique-sounding amplifier. The tones are so rich, that no other amplifier is alike. The amp is small and not as heavy as some other amps. It has two channels and is really easy and a pleasure to work with. It has an attenuator, which makes it possible to play at home while still driving the tubes hot. Another advantage is having the knobs not go smooth but with stops, which helps you always identify where you are in your volume position and enables you to remember the state and go back and forth, tuning the things to how you like much easier and faster.

The quality of the product is beyond everything. It sounds great through the orange cabs and the ENGL cabs as well.

Sound-wise, the cleans are one of the best I have ever heard, besides, perhaps, 5150 EL34 100s. I think they are equally nice, but I prefer the 5150 for some reason.

The dirty channel is just the killer feature of this amp. I cannot describe it; you just need to try it yourself. What I can say is that this particular series (Rockerverb) has something in the low and low-mids that every other amp lacks. This low bite, this powerful grunt and roar. I find this amp so special and unique that I will never remove it from my setup and will always use it, if not the main, than as a complement to my other signal(s) when I record. Just nothing else has it.

Es war ein schweres Paket was mir unser Paketbote überreichte, ganze 25kg wollten und wurden durch das Treppenhaus getragen. Endlich ausgepackt und von allen Styropor befreit, nahm der Amp seinen Platz auf einem 212 ein. Im Paket befanden sich zwei Netzstecker, einmal für den deutschen und den englischen Gebrauch, sowie ein sehr kurz gehaltenes Handbuch.
Nach gefühlt endlosem Erwärmen konnte ich den meine Klampfe einstecken und spielte ein paar klare Töne. Es dauerte nicht lange und hatte alle Potis mal in allen Stellungen, wobei der Attenuator den Hausfrieden wahrte. Ich spielte bis tief in den Nacht, mal mit 100 Watt und allen Röhren, mal nur mit 2 Röhren und 30 Watt. Dazwischen immer der Attenuator und etwas Reverb.

+ Verarbeitung tadelos, alles läuft smooth, nicts wackelt
+ der Sound, man findet schnell seinen gewünschten Orange Klang
und der Amp verzeiht viele EQ Einstellunen

+ Möglichkeit der Wattreduzierungen und des Herunterschaltens auf

- kein Fußschalter dabei, 2099 ¤ ist schon ein Preis und das könnte
man schon einen Fußschlater mit hineinpacken

Sencillamente brutal. El amplificador tiene un sonido increíble, y la posibilidad de utilizar dos o cuatro válvulas es un punto a su favor, así como el conmutador de watios para utilizar los 100 o solo la mitad.
Por otro lado, la versatilidad que ofrece es única. Desde un canal limpio excelente, hasta distorsiones para blues, rock, y el high gain para sonidos más duros.
A la hora de tocarlo, da una sensación se estar fabricado con todo detalle, y parece tener muchísima robustez, de hecho, se nota en su peso.
