Das Cello spricht gut an und hat einen warmen, tragfähigen Klang, der auf allen vier Saiten und auch in höheren Lagen ausgewogen ist. Die tiefen Saiten sind sonor und kräftig, die höheren klar und ausgewogen. Ich nutze es allein, im Quartett und im Orchester. Anfangs gab es Probleme mit einem unrunden Wirbel, den der hiesige Geigenbauer in Ordnung gebracht hat. Thomann hat anstandslos die Kosten übernommen. Seitdem hält es sehr gut die Stimmung. Erwähnenswert ist auch der gesonderte Raum bei Thomann, in dem ich drei Stunden lang sieben Celli in Ruhe ausprobieren konnte, um mich dann für das Semmlinger Cello 135 zu entscheiden, das meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt.
