    I've been using Ernie Ball strings for as long as I can remember. When I bought the Steinberger 6 string electric guitar I was limited to the double ball end strings of which there is not much choice. I have been pleasantly surprised by the S946 strings. Good even volume, durable, stay in tune, bright sound. Very good. I was going to buy the string conversion to be able to use any brand of string but I don't need to. Happy with these strings. Clean then after every play and they'll last a lot longer! (I'm using dAndrea String Cleaner at the moment.)

    Cordes montées sur une Steinberger Spirit Gt pro standard.
    La longueur est tout juste suffisante. J'étais un peu inquiet au début mais finalement aucun problème.
    C'est la première fois que je garde un jeu de cordes si longtemps avec cette guitare sans casser une corde (6 mois et toujours pas de casse). Auparavant j'ai essayé en 9 46 des Daddario en double boules, des GHS en 9 42 et double boules, des Ernie Ball en 9 46 simple boule avec adaptateur, des Elixir. Je tenais rarement plus d'un mois sans casser de corde.
    Concernant le son, c'est très satisfaisant à mon goût et tout a fait comparable à des Ernie Ball.
