Top quality component.

Installation was very smooth - Staggered 3x3 tuners are labeled clearly. All you need is a screwdriver and a wrench. Thomann staff were also very helpful in confirming that these are a direct swap for the stock GOTOHs in my AZ2402.

Operation - No issues, looks and feels great. I was suprised that I felt the difference going from the 16:1 to 18:1 gear ratio - it is very, very smooth.

A little pricey for sure, but worth every penny. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants to upgrade and escape from the pin-and-twist mechanism of the stock AZ tuners.

Direct replacment for the ones in my MM-1

As mentioned above, these are a direct fit for Ibanez AZ guitars, which are great guitars but unfortunately come fitted with 'HAP' tuners which I find quite tedious to work with when restringing. These are expensive but worth it for me to make a great guitar considerably more user-friendly when restringing. No string winder required, no strings getting stuck in the slot as with the HAP versions.
