Excellent value

Wasn't sure what to expect at this price but was pleasantly surprised. This Banjo sounds great and the action as received was very playable. The finish on the instrument is really quite good although it is too early to say much about durability. Purchased as a gift for a younger person it should be noted that the banjo does have some weight to it so under 10s might struggle. The strap is also tricky compared to a guitar as the neck wants to fall down... I imagine it's the same with most banjos. The case that came with the bundle was also very sturdy. My only regret is it is rather heavy, a good soft case may be a better option.

après avoir essayé tous les jeux de cordes que j'ai pu trouvé pour banjo ténor, celui-ci est de loin le meilleur.
Il est vrai qu'il manque un peu de graves, mais la réponse et la solidité sont excellentes, là où d'autres jeux molissent et se cassent. Aucune mauvaise surprise, même en attaquant fortement les cordes.

Saiten beim Aufziehen gerissen.

Es gab ja bereits eine Bewertung in der das stand. Nun ja Versuch macht klug.
Bestellt, Saite vorsichtig (!) aufgezogen und tatsächlich sofort gerissen. Scheint wohl kein besonderes Produkt zu sein. Aber immerhin 2 von 4 sind noch intakt.
Klang der beiden hohen Saiten ist in Ordnung.

Fazit: besser was anderes ausprobieren. Für das Ergebnis sind die zu teuer.

Klar gibt es eine relativ große Auswahl an Banjo-Saiten. Für den nebenher-Banjo-spielenden Gitarristen sind jedoch 2 Dinge wichtig: die Saiten müssen klingen (deshalb die Überschrift), und sie müssen halten. Hier bieten ghs Banjo Saiten ein mehr als faires Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Und mit dem Loop-End-System sind sie ohne Probleme auf jedes Banjo aufziehbar. Jetzt plingt mein Framus Nashville Banjo wieder.
