Ho sostituito con successo il ponte rotto del mio banjo tenore. Non ho dovuto fare molte modifiche. Si è adattato perfettamente al mio strumento.

In my case it is slightly taller than the bridge it replaced (on a Tanglewood Irish tenor banjo), leading to mildly higher action in the higher frets; which I will live with for now as I am not to confident in my sanding abilities. Others have reported it as a perfect drop-in replacement, so your experience may differ.

Here's the story - I bought an electric banjo (yes, you heard that right) from someone on eBay who abandoned his project and when I looked at the listing, the only thing missing was a bridge! I added this item to an order I was already placing with Thomann (no way was I paying £10 p&p just for this!) and it works brilliantly. Because the banjo is black, I just coloured in the bridge with a black Sharpie!

Gutes Ersatzteil und mehr

Es ist schonmal schön dass man überhaupt so etwas im Internet kaufen kann wie einen Steg für ein 4-saitiges Banjo. Ich war mir da gar nicht so sicher als ich nachsehen wollte ob... Aber dann: Bei Thomann, und sogar für schlappe Unter-3-Euro. Na, wer sagt?s denn? Und das Ding macht was es soll. Man kann damit neue Instrumente basteln (wie in meinem konkreten Fall) oder es tatsächlich als Ersatzteil für einen maroden Tenorbanjosteg verwenden. Ist ja auch keine große Sache, nachdem die Dinger sowieso einfach "an der richtigen Stelle" aufs Fell gesetzt werden müssen und "gut ist". Ich fand und finde es toll dass man so easy an Ersatzteile für exotische Saiteninstrumente bei Euch kommt. Daumen hoch darum und vielen Dank! Weiter so!
