Si tratta di un plettro da jazz con un anello di plastica che va inserito al pollice, come un plettro da pollice, ma assicura una rotazione ed una regolazione in lunghezza che dovrebbero rendere agevole anche l'utilizzo come un normale plettro sulla singola corda oltre che sullo strumming.
L'idea è molto intelligente, ma il movimento dell'anello sul plettro è decisamente poco agevole e dunque la possibilità di suonarlo in strumming è molto limitato, in quanto l'inclinazione del plettro è bloccata e questo determina l'impossibilità di gestire bene la dinamica naturale di un plettro tenuto su due dita che oscilla durante lo strumming. Resta comunque un oggetto robusto e ben fatto che si avvicina allo scopo, ma richiede un tempo di apprendimento molto lungo che in ogni caso non può portare all'effetto sperato.

Better than usual Thumb Picks

I decided to go for these as the cheaper plastic thumb picks not easy to use, particularly the length and the Rigid movement.
Pros
These picks are a great improvement. Can use as a regular thumb pick
You can then grip it like a regular pick

Cons
They can fall of your thumb or cut of the blood supply to your thumb when too tight, although that can be said of all thumb picks
They are expensive for three picks

I would still recommend them overall

Great option and least worth trying

They are a great thumbpick plectrum combined I do actually prefer the Fred Kelly orange standard for the sound when fingerstyle picking, but these are a great option if you find it hard to hold on to your pick or find standard picks too big. If you dont like the standard thumpick try these they may work for you, So they are a good compromise and I am glad I bought them next time Ill try a differnt guage but Im happy with them. Fred Kelly products are great in my experience.

Seems to be a nice hybrid between regular and finger picks

I wanted to try a bit of finger picking using the thumb pick, but use the regular one at the same time. The pick feels quite good and it is nice to experiment with it, but I just didn't find myself using it as a thumb pick very often. So I guess it's just a problem of mine.
