They last

Fredix_27 13.12.2018

Good brand, good product, good packaging. What else ? They last 3 times longer than the previous string I've used (d'addario). The sound is less metallic compared to non coated string but the price it's unbeatable

Great strings, I have been using them for years on Strat, LP or JS.
Rich, clear tone that feels amazing as your fingers glide over them. They last over 2 or 3 times as long as your normal strings too. Well worth the extra money.

Elixir Nanoweb 12106 7-String Medium

Arsen_Saryyev 22.03.2024

Elixir Nanoweb 12106 strings for medium 7-string guitar are a high quality product that has become a preference for many guitarists due to its durability, oxidation resistance and excellent sound.

One of the key benefits of Elixir Nanoweb strings is their unique Nanoweb coating, which helps to extend their life. This coating protects the strings from oxidation and dirt and oil buildup, allowing them to maintain a bright and clear sound for a longer period of time. In addition, Nanoweb creates a smooth surface that provides a comfortable playing feel and reduces noise when changing positions on the fingerboard.

Elixir Nanoweb strings are also characterized by high sound quality. They have a bright and rich timbre that gives the instrument excellent sound definition and projection. This makes them an ideal choice for a wide range of musical styles, from rock and metal to jazz and funk.

I use these on a 6 string guitar....

Bo E. 09.04.2023

Been a fan of Elixir strings for a very long time and even turned some friends in exclusive elixir string users.
That being said, I use these strings for playing a 6 string guitar in drop C.
I like a tight low string for chugga chugga but appreciate a lower gauge for melodies and solo's.
So I drop the .049 so I get CGCFAD with .059 .038 .028 .018 .014 .011
Works great !
