These strings, in a medium low price range, were a choice i made to restring my cello, avoiding a super expensive set. The sound quality is good, they have D'Addario guarantee of being rust proof trough time. sound is more dark than bright, and tension is medium high, so always lower the tension when not playing, so to restrain from damage on the front.
