Snare sound makes a difference!

Very happy with this pad. I play drumset and was using the Evans Realfeel and E-pad (low rebound) for years. Rubber pads can be muffled and loose sounding. This Ahead pad with snare beads gives a sharp snare sound that defines timing well. The laminate top is bright, but coupled with Vicfirth/ Tama rubber practice tips, the tonal response and feel is excellent.

Ahead 10'' Drumcorps - für Drummer bedingt geeignet

Die Verarbeitung des Pads ist sehr gut. Es soll das Spiel auf einer Pipe Drum simulieren, damit ist die Oberfläche im Vergleich zu anderen Practice Pads sehr hart und fest. Damit steigt auf die Lautstärke deutlich. Ich denke dass das Pad eher für den "jungen" Drumschüler Vorteile hat, da der Rebound sehr angenehm und deutlich ist. Für den erfahreneren Drummer gibt es bessere Alternativen. Für den Drumcorps-Pipe-Drummer sicher ein perfektes Übungsgerät.
