Drumeo QuietPad

The construction is solid, and the weight of the pad allows it to be played on top of a snare drum without it moving. The "classic" blue surface is certainly very responsive, but nothing too special. What is surprising, however, is the black surface. It is actually quieter, PROVIDED you don't hit too hard. If hit hard, it will feel like you are hitting the wood underneath. This is a limit which, however, can be a valid ally in regulating the dynamics, given that we often tend to play with more force than necessary on the pad. The bounce doesn't really imitate a snare drum, but a 12' tom. In any case I find it much more fun to play than the blue one.
The foam in which it is made is quite dense, so it does not appear fragile and easily susceptible to breakage (I use the rohema pad sticks to avoid any damage from chopped sticks as much as possible), but in any case for transport I recommend its original packaging . Given the versatility and the price I definitely recommend it.

After having seen a lot of reviews I had decided to buy the drumeo quietpad, it was at the time the right choice but after unboxing... I could say that the pads were alright, but i didn't like the mdf board, the finish is very poor, not polished, just a porous edge... maybe somebody else wouldn't care but I do, temu material, sorry drumeo guys.... Drumeo rocks but the quietpad not so much, but is okay if you don't care about quality details...
