Not for the faint hearted or players who can't commit 100% to staying in practice. This piece comes into its own above top C and keeps going. As with any shallow cup, hit it wrong and you're in trouble (that's where the practice, practice, practice comes in). As ever, Warburton quality is unquestionable. As an observation, I see a number of players with a 'swap' strategy where they play one mouthpiece for some pieces but stick some 'screamer' in if anything looks a bit high. My advice is find a good mouthpiece that you can play high on and you can take care of the rest of the range, warming up anything lower through practice. Bach 3C and a 'Screamer' doesn't seem the right thing and says to me you need to find the correct top/backbore combination and that will fix you up in all registers.

Warburton Top Part 7 ESV for Trumpet

Bienvenue dans le système Warburton qui permet de créer son embouchure en ajustant queue (backbore) et cuvette (top).
Lorsqu'on a trouvé sa taille, en ce qui me concerne c'est le N°7 on peut en fonction du son recherché ou, bien entendu,en fonction d'autres critère comme l'endurance, la souplesse, l'aigu choisir entre différents modèles de cuvette en "C" ou en "V".
Jouant habituellement la 7SV c'est à dire une embouchure de 16mm de diamètre (7) ayant une cuvette relevée (Shallow) en V j'ai voulu essayer la 7ESV (Extra Shallow V) . Pour moi c'est ok , ça sera l'embouchure dédiée aux musiques actuelles.
