A little overhyped

After long time of working with other compressors, I got the "ultimate emulation" from UAD. And was pretty disappointed, nowadays sound/quality of this plugin is not far away from other, much cheaper/free plugins.

Der API 2500 ist ein, nach meinen Kenntnissen, in USA Studios ein sehr beliebter Kompressor. Egal ob auf einzelnen Spuren oder im Mix/Master Bus. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Kompressoren bietet dieses Gerät sehr viele Einstellmöglichkeiten mit denen man sich erstmal befassen sollte. Kennt man diese hat man sehr viele Möglichkeiten den Sound nach Belieben und Geschmack zu formen. Also: Lernen-Nützen-Hören-Freuen.
Ja, ich freue mich dieses Plugin zu besitzen.

Ein sauber programmierter und super klingender Bus Compressor. Wirklich gut nutzbare Presets in überschaubarer Menge; Das spart Zeit :)
Spitzen PlugIn und vor allem wenn zum Werbepreis erworben. Systemlast unter WIN10 in Cubase und LUNA niedrig, auch wenn der Kompressor auf vielen Bussen liegt. Klasse!
