Not as directive as you might expect
I made two audio systems in two churches and I was able to make an in-depth comparison between the t.bone EM 9900 and Rode NTG2.
From the Rode I expected more quality and less directivity and vice versa from the t.bone.
During the calibration, the greater directivity of the Rode emerged despite the shot gun length of the t.bone (+14 Cm).
For recording it can be a valid alternative (it sound surprising decent) while for voice amplification that require a directivity microphone i don't recommend it.
Of course the price difference with NTG2 is huge, however my impression is that the cost / project of the t.bone has limited the directive yield that could be expected from a 42 cm shot gun.
