I bought this part to test compatibility with other mic's.
In general it works with mic booms from 6 to 10mm diameter, if it's thinner then 6mm you wil need some rubber sleeve to make it fit. it works out of the box with Sennheiser E908 and Neumann MCM, for dpa 4099 you wil need some sleeve.

Quality is great, in my opinion it should have a thread 3/8>5/8 adaptor.
My biggest concern is that the set screw wil fall off and it wil fall apart. the screw is M4, so easy to replace. in general this products feels very high spec.
