The construction is super sturdy, on pair with big brands.
It is not an high excursion driver, so it is best suitable for horns bass bins.
Also by looking inside the holes for the cooling of the coil, I saw that the coil seems an inside/out winding ! Not bad for this price.
This technology is used by big brands with a lot higher prices .
Anyway I'm using it in a bass reflex enclosure with high pass filter at 40hz and low pass at 110.
Giving it its 500wrms basically you are just waking up the coil, you must use a 1000w RMS amplifier to move this cone .
As the other reviews said, of course with a b&c/rcf/18sound you will have better performance, but since you are buying a Thomann product, I don't think you are running a big service for Rihanna , so it is sufficient enough
