Il pedale in questione è un ottimo clone di vari Rat.
Le dimensioni sono più contenute rispetto un normale pedale, le connessioni montate in alto permettono di salvare spazio in pedaliera ed è tutto sommato molto solido.
Il suono è quello che ci si aspetterebbe da un pedale del genere, gain da vendere e una buona dinamica. Le tre modalità sono tutte utilizzabili ed ognuna con caratteristiche particolari, la "turbo" ha un volume di uscita molto più alto rispetto alle altre ed ha più gain, una distorsione più "ferma" e definita, mentre la modalità "fat" come suggerisce il nome ingrossa molto il suono enfatizzando le frequenze medio-basse e non risulta ingolfato se si regola la manopola "filter" a dovere (quest'ultima funziona al contrario come l'originale, girando in senso antiorario si schiarisce il suono, viceversa di scurisce).
Inoltre, contrariamente a quanto si possa pensare, questo pedale suona benissimo usato come leggero overdrive, consiglio di provarlo con gain quasi a zero, modalità "fat" e con una Stratocaster avrete un suono spettacolare.

Amazing sound but a weird switch

It's a slightly more conventional sounding clone of three RAT versions (normal, fat and turbo). Sounds really great, but for some reason the switch activates when you lift your foot instead of when you stomp. Weird choice, but aside from that, sounds great

This pedal is "advertised" as a RAT copy/clone. I bought one so that I could have that RAT sound with the addition of the options on the switch. However, after placing it on my board and comparing against my own RAT with a pedal switcher, it was clear that they are not the same. Whilst we are in the same ballpark, the EQ is not the same and it didn't have the same "chewy crunchiness" that the RAT had.
However, if you are not specifically looking for a RAT clone/replacement, then this may work for you. It starts with a crunchy overdrive and goes up to silicon fuzz. The modes are good and it gives you a good boost capability that the original RAT does not have.
