Schecter C-1 Hellraiser BCH

I have a Stratocaster HSS, a mode Bare Knuckle pick up Telecaster type and an ST type HH with Seymore Duncans. All pick ups are passive, with each guitar having its own tone and merit, but this Hellraiser? An amazingly beautiful piece of machinery where I could not find any manufacturing defects…and these active EMGs? Full-on at the top end, middle and bottom end. I can safely say that this is the best guitar I now have. One comment that Schecter should take into account is the neck finishing. Gloss is sticky compared to smooth slidey satin when running your hand up and down it. But I guess I will get used to this minor point. 9.5 / 10 therefore 🎯

I have been looking at this guitar forever as a second guitar, I rarely use money so it was a big purchase for me going from my $200 Squier I've used for a year now. Here's the thing, I might be wrong but I expect such an expensive guitar to be delivered with little to no issues, but there are some.

To start, the fretbuzz, I have no idea why but the strings were WAY too tight. I adjusted the truss rod and bridge and fixed the low and high frets to some degree but around the 7th fret it just won't go away. Again, this can probably be fixed by delivering it into a shop, but I expect not to have to do that with such an expensive guitar.

Secondly, it came with no plastic wrap around the knobs or body, like no tight plastic to peel off. I don't know if this is normal for Schecter or if I got a B-stock guitar at full price.

Other than that it is good, it sounds good, feels good, dual split humbuckers working fine and the paint is very well. I might be returning it and buying another brand to see if it will also let me down.

Eigentlich ist es das Bestellen von Instrumenten schon eine seltsame Sache, man hat nichts getestet,man kann nur den Berichten anderer glauben und die stimmen auf jeden fall. Hier trift liebe auf den/das erste(n) Blick/Spielen am besten zu. Diese Gitarre ist einfach Göttlich. Kannte die Marke Schecter zuvor überhaupt nicht, aber kann sie nur jeden Weiterempfehlen. Bespielbarkeit ist echt hervorragend, jeder dem ich sie in die Hand gedrückt habe wollte sie nicht mehr hergeben.

Der Sound ist für mich einfach eine Bereicherung. Zuvor habe ich nur eine Strat gespielt die mit SingleCoils besetzt war. Ich konnte mich nie mit Humbuckern anfreunden, aber seit den EMGs die bei dieser Gitarre verbaut sind will ich nichts mehr anderes hören wollen. Zumal sind die Pickups umschaltbar und man erreicht somit auch den gewohnten SC Sound. Ich muss euch noch ein Geheimnis verraten.

Das sollte aber meine Frau nicht erfahren!!! Ich habe mir noch die Diamond C-7 Hellraiser gekauft!!! Nach dieser Gitarre konnte ich nicht widerstehen!!!
