Nice 'All-in-one' Drum machine

Bought this as a way of having every Roland Drum Machines in one. For that purpose it was great. Easy to tempo-sync to any DAW which really did it for me workflow wise and creatively speaking (Very quick to get down a basic beat without having to find samples and so on. Very compact in size and very easy to handle even though you can end up menu diving quite a lot. BUT nothing annoying really.

As far as other uses than a drum machine I didn't really see the purpose of this machine. IMO its not suited for making much else than drum patterns (which it does well)

I sold mine shortly after, when realising I'm more of a one-trick-pony kinda guy. The TR-08 for example suits me better.
But its a very nice machine I would defo recommend it to anyone looking for an addition to their studio setup.

This is an amazing little machine, I love it. All the features of the TR8S packed into this powerful unit. Highly versatile and capable.

Excellent Groove Machine

This is an excellent groove machine, easy to sketch up your ideas. The sound quality is pretty good!

Easy workflow
Quality sounds
Portable

Cons:
Not many things to say here.
Just bare in mind that sound design is quite limited on this machine

Brilliant modern representation of such classic sounds.

The TR-6S does exactly what you want it to do. You get the classic sounds plus more opportunity to add and work with your own, it is very lightweight and portable for on the go or desk space saved and it is a very powerful piece of kit.
The plastic material was a worry to me at first in terms of strength but it is strong and durable. Also the lack of controls and menu hopping might be annoying to some people, however for it's size and price it will do everything you need and more!
