Almost perfect

very quiet on both sides, specially on the less rebounded side you can play it while your kids are watching tv.
The less rebound side is comparable to the rebound you have on a floor tom, while the other side is close to the snare rebound.
The pad is perfect if you are looking, like me, for a very quiet solution, to practice late night at home or in a hotel room.
Having said that, for me the best pad to practice is the realfeel, but for my necessities I can't paly it in hotel or late night.

Ottimo pad. Utilissimo per lo sviluppo dei polsi. Lo consiglio a chi ha già un RealFell o simili perché va a completare le superfici sulla quale lavorare. Se il RealFell ha un rimbalzo molto accentuato, qui troviamo un medio e basso rimbalzo. In totale le tre superfici sulla quale dovrebbe lavorare un batterista. Ottimo prodotto, ottima qualità e Thomann sempre una garanzia. Lo consiglio.

Well-made, expensive and far from silent

Pros:
- very well made
- two surfaces feel distinct; there is noticeably less rebound on the WORKK side
- depending on what you're looking for, the large size is nice (although less portable)

CONS:
- personally, I was hoping for a very quiet pad, but the FLEXX side is still a bit noisy and surprisingly, the WORKK side has an even bigger stick sound, despite having less rebound
- with medium to hard hits, it's easy for the stick to push down the entire foam surface and reach the wood part of the pad, as one review also stated earlier
- high price which doesn't feel entirely justified

To be clear, the sound isn't exactly loud (nowhere near as bad as the Remo pads with an actual drumhead), but still isn't quiet enough that you could consider practicing with it in any apartment building. Especially harder hits that reach the wood plate of the pad make a sound that will likely reach your neighbours. For me, this is quite a major issue, but if you are not worried about the volume, the pad is a good choice.

As close to a drumhead as you can get

It's like hitting a low tuned head on the main side then the other side is a workout as very little rebound, lovely dull noise so it is easy for the rest of the house to put up with the receptiveness of practise. Very nice pad and getting loads of use now. - just keep your morning espresso cup away from it!
