Hard to describe

A truly unique instrument. Otherworldy sounding, with a simple yet majestetic form and presence. Even good recordings on youtube do not provide a good enough recreation of this instrument when experienced up close. Just be shure that you buy a RAV with a tuning you can enjoy (and use in collaborating musical projects) years to come.

Wow, was für ein Spaß

Habe lange überlegt ob und welche Handpan ich mir kaufen sollte. Sehr viel Geld ausgeben für eine "echte" oder relativ wenig für eine billige Zungentrommel. Der wirklich goldene Mittelweg ist die RAV Vast. Und bei der Auswahl der Stimmung hilft mir ein Video einer kompetenten Thomann Mitarbeiterin auf Youtube. Genau den Klang wollte ich.

Das Instrument kann wirklich ohne Drummer sein zu müssen gespielt werden und der Spaß und das Erfolgserlebnis stellt sich quasi sofort ein. Ideal um nach Feierabend einfach etwas zu entspannen. Und mit etwas Übung lassen sich phantastische Klangwelten zaubern.

Nice sound, nice look.

Really nice instrument, the manufacturing is perfect, every detail is well finished.
What like most is the long sustain of the sounds, the sound after a beat can last for 10-15 seconds.
Regarding the tunning, I tested it with my electronic tunner and all the notes are perfect or inside the tunning by 2-3 cents (thats 2% of detuned, at most).

Es passt einfach alles, ordentliche saubere Handarbeit, korrekt gestimmt, ganz leichte Ansprache. Selbst als Anfängerin sind sofort der RAV super schöne Töne zu entlocken, was unheimlich Spaß macht. Ich bin begeistert und kann sie nur weiter empfehlen.
