This cable has a particular use for me: it goes out from the iTrack Dock Studio (audio interface for iPad) straight into a Focusrite Scarlett's preamp (main audio interface). I mainly record my 8 string guitar with Bias/Bias FX from Positive Grid on the iPad and I used this setup for my entire album. I think that the result is great, despite the heavy distortion presets I used!
Although the strange angle in which this cable is used in my home recording studio, the cable is very solid and malleable. The sound clarity is very nice: I have received compliments for my tone by the mixing and mastering guy. It is also important to mention the price aspect: I have my guitar pedalboard cabled with Vovox's cables, but Planet Waves provides some high quality at lower prices. I am starting questioning if, by using every cable from this factory, I may have had the same results in terms of sound, at one third of the price.
What are the pros? Its resistance, its consistency, its performance, its longevity, price and quality ratio.
What are the cons? None at the moment.
I am looking forward to keep using it in my home studio!
