great sound, very bad longevity

It's the sound I was looking for but unfortunately the moment you loosen the string, as I did to in order to clean the finger board, the winding loosens.
I contacted Pirastro and they said that is how it is with a high C string.
I now only use it on my ''recording bass'' on my road bass I use thomastic and dampen it a bit with a small faucet leather rubber band at the bridge.

Corde de C Evah Pirazzi

Très déçu , j'ai monté cette corde et dès le lendemain le filetage c'est démonté entre la touche et le chevalet.(j'étais en répétition ...)
De plus le tiran medium est plus dure que celui d'une Thomastik, le diametre de la cordes Pirazzi pour un C aigu est équivalent à celui d'un G Thomastik . J'attend un retour de produit en souhaitant que ce n'était qu'un défaut de fabrication pour cette corde.

Schöner Sound, aber etwas anders als der Rest.

Ich habe die C-Saite für einen 5-Saiter gekauft, auf dem ich technisch leichter hohe Tonlagen spielen kann. Prinzipiell funktioniert das auch, es fällt aber auf, dass die hohe C-Saite einiges birllanter als der Rest des Satzes klingt. Die anderen sind dezenter.

Nachtrag: nach zwei Jahren, ohne die Saite viel gespielt zu haben, ist sie beim Stimmen gerissen.
