They're simply the most flexible (in terms of sound) needles I have ever experienced. Very smooth on the wax. Easy and fast to set. In my opinion the best on the market. It's no coincidence that most of experimental, techno and minimal Berlin clubs and artists use them.

excellent improvment from the mk1 series! plastic finger now is removable for customization and easy replace in case of damage. Super tracking force and high output. Good sound, Perfect for scratching.

I was looking for a shure m44-7 alternative, testing many different cartridges. I compared original Shure, Thakker replacement, Jico, Concorde Club and Scratch. While nothing can beat Jico, the second favourite were Scratch. Concorde Club had an unpleasant sound for me (awful higher mids with this weird boost that literally made each record sound wrong). The Scratch ones have a very good sound and awesome tracking. Scratch are my back-up pair for gigs now cause they are also easy to pack.
