This is a well-built pedal. Running it through an effects loop and was disappointing. Running it straight through the effects chain to the amp is night and day different. Am completely blown away by the power and versatility of this device. Am glad I never send products back to the seller and just look for solutions that work. I fully endorse this pedal!!

Sehr gute Marshall in a Box Style Mid Gain Distortion

Die Rebel Red 4K Distortion bietet sehr gute Plexi- und JCM-mäßige Crunch bis Lead Sounds.
Der Gain Regler regelt den Zerrgrad, während der Drive Regler den Pre-Gain Level steuert. Damit läßt sich das Pedal an verschiedene Tonabnehmer mit mehr oder weniger Output anpassen. Man kann damit auch einen etwas luftigeren Crunch Sound oder einen dichteren, fetteren Lead Sound einstellen. Das Pedal hat ausreichend Tiefmitten Punch, und mit dem Treble Regler lässt sich das optimale Maß an Hochmitten und Höhen für verschiedene Equippement Kontexte einstellen.
In einem direkten Vergleich mit meiner Teisco Distortion und meiner Digitech Hardwire SC-2 Valve Distortion konnte die Rebel Red 4K Distortion recht gut mithalten, wenngleich sie deutlich weniger scharfe Zähne hat. Eine etwas geschmeidigere, weichere Zerrstruktur ist ja aber auch nicht unbedingt etwas Schlechtes.
Insgesamt gefällt mir diese kleine Zerre sehr gut!
