Stylish and solid musician's stool.

I purchased this item to use as a timpani stool and it is very good at the job. The seat swivels which is perfect for twisting to play timpani at either side. The height and seat tilt are both fully and easily adjustable. At the base the stool has a couple of wheels for rolling when transporting however these are quite small which makes them not appropriate to use on some flooring surfaces. The stool is not too heavy to carry short distances instead though. It is a sturdy object and feels secure to sit on. Note that, ideally your floor surface should be flat otherwise the stool may not sit perfectly flat on the floor (it is not a three legged stool after all). I am very happy with the styling. I think the splash of red (or blue) makes it more interesting.

Ich bin Keyboarder in einer Coverband und nutze nun seit einigen Monaten den Mey Chair Stuhl und bin sehr zufrieden. Für mich waren folgende Kriterien wichtig: optisch ansprechend auf der Bühne, guter Sitzkomfort und gute Transportmöglichkeiten.

Alles ist bei dem Hocker soweit gegeben. Hierbei handelt es sich ja um einen Stehhocker, das heißt er dient zur Entlastung. Und das ist mir gerade bei Songs die sehr Pianolastig sind wichtig, dass ich mich dabei setzten kann (schon wegen des tretens vom Sustainpedal). Ein Nachteil ist jedoch der Kunstlederbezug da man sehr schnell darauf schwitzt.

Aber der Stuhl ist ja auch nicht dafür konzipiert dass man den ganzen abend sitzt. Alle Verstellmöglichkeiten sind top!!

Mon utilisation est la scène, piano.
J'ai été un peu surpris par la stabilité toute relative... si on se penche un peu, le siège bascule. Le pied droit devant s'occuper de la pédale, il est nécessaire que la jambe gauche soit bien stabilisée, voire un peu en hauteur pour qu'il n'y ait pas de pb. Dommage, l'angle du siège avec la verticale aurait pu être un peu plus prononcé pour éviter ça.
Sinon, côté assise, c'est confortable. Avec un peu d'habitude, on arrive à être à l'aise... cependant moins que sur un bon vieux siège piano, c'est clair ! Après, j'imagine qu'il est difficile d'avoir et le confort et une stature mi-assise mi-debout, qui est super pour ajouter de la présence scénique.
Peut-être le modèle avec dossier est-il plus confortable, à voir.
Côté fabrication, RAS, c'est du solide. Les réglages sont faciles, c'est construit pour durer.
