I bought this as a cheaper step down from the Bose L1 Pro8. This has very good sound. Obviously it's better if standing right in front of the speaker but it does spread out to the rest of the room. It is a little heavy at 20Kg so I bought the "LD Systems Wheelboard f. Maui 11 G3" too which is a great help for transport (provided there are no kerbs to mount). It does require a mixer to operate but apart from that it provides a very professional look.
Regarding features, there really aren't any - it's just plug & play.
The sound is a little rich for my Yamaha acoustic so I'll have to play around with that for a bit. But for the amount of composite sound & speakers, it is well worth it.

Ich hatte das Glück direkt vor Ort Probe hören zu können. Da hat LD von G2 auf G3 noch eine Schippe draufgelegt. Bei der 2. Generation waren für meinen Geschmack die Höhen nicht ganz da und der Sound insgesamt etwas dumpf. Der neue Maui 11 G3 hat hingegen einen sehr ausgewogenen, präsenten Klang. Den ersten Live-Test mit Gitarre + Gesang im Innenraum und mit +/- 100 Zuhörern hat die Box erfolgreich bestanden.

Eine Sache finde ich schade: man kann das mittlere Distanzteil leider nicht weglassen, um die Höhe zu verringern, wenn die Box auf einer höheren Bühne steht, das ist ein Nachteil. Wär super, wenn es einen Adapter gäbe, so dass das Topteil direkt auf den Bass gesteckt werden könnte.
Aber abgesehen davon ein super Teil für kleinere Live Gigs.
