Perfette per ogni tecnica... slap su tutte. Suono ricco di armoniche chiare e definite che rende le note basse ben distinguibili (mai sentito un SI così sonoro in un basso 5 corde!). Inoltre, sono le più sottili che abbia mai provato e questo per me le rende meno faticose da gestire, permettendomi di settare l'action quasi "raso-terra". Anche il manico ringrazia perché deve sopportare meno tensione... appena le ho montate ho dovuto allentare il truss-rod. Di sicuro, quando consumerò queste che ho già preso, le ricomprerò, anche perché costano meno di altre marche più famose. Consigliatissime!

I use them with Conklin GTBD-7 bass. My main string set for last 9 years. I`ve tried other similar sets: Dean Markley SR2000, Ken Smith Taper`s, SIT, but this string set is the best for me.

Clarity
For the first time i`ve need to adjust the bridge saddles to fit the explosive core end. For some bases it can be problem, because you need to raise the height of the saddles to fit.

pros
Very balanced and full range bass sound. Good for slapping and finger-style. This set is light tension and light gauge, so the sensitivity of strings is very good, as well as more dynamics and open sound.
My opinion - the set is good for basses with small string-to string distance 16-17mm. I`ve tried this set also on 4 string fretless and semi-hollow - works very well.
This set is very long lasting and keep the character of sound until the end. High recommended set!

Cons: price can be cheaper.
