Simple, rugged, effective.

You know what to expect when buying a K&M product. They're very solid, carefully made and just do the job. This microphone stand extender is great for a couple of purposes: raising the boom arm on a Spider Pro / Baby Spider Pro keyboard stand (particularly if you have the laptop rest in place as well - you'll need the K&M 18864 adapter bolt set to do this); it's also great for overhead microphones when recording drums etc - some stands get a bit wobbly at maximum extension, but with this extension you can easily add another 400-500mm of height while keeping things solid. A simple but very useful accessory - I'll be buying more!

Gut duchdacht, auch für spezielle Anwendungen

Gewohnt gute K&M Qualität. Unten mit 3/8 Zoll Innengewinde (female), oben mit 3/8 Zoll Aussengewinde (male).

Daher auch für Eigenbauten gut zu gebrauchen (kann unten mit entsprechender Zoll-Schraube befestigt werden) oder zur variablen Verlängerung am Grundrohr (ohne Schwenkarm) passender Mikrofonstative angebracht werden.

Allerdings war bei einem meiner 2 bestellten Exemplare die untere Gewindeaufnahme nicht fest genug eingeprest und löste sich beim ersten Gebrauch. Thomann reagierte umgehend und schickte anstandslos ein Ersatzexemplar (danke nochmal für die reibungslose Abwicklung)!
