The drivers are terrible week, i have 20 srx units in my rental and the drivers magnets just splits in half in many of my units.
And the amps sometimes don't work unless you restart it. I have waited for 2 years for replacement driver and still nothing.
The srx 812 and 815 make terrible vibrating noise from the amp, terrible assembling.
Not religeble.
But it sounds great when it is working.

Leicht, präzise und druckvoll...JBL Professional wie man es sich wünscht!

Als das mächtige Paket ankam war erst einmal Skepsis angesagt, ob und wie sich dieser doppel18er handeln lässt! Nach dem Auspacken dann die Überraschung wie leicht er doch ist. Ließ sich sogar allein handeln, so dass schnell die optionalen BlueWheels montiert waren und somit der Woofer an seinen ersten Testplatz rollen konnte.ERster Soundcheck in Kombi mit zwei ELX12
von EV..klappte super. Sehr dynamisch und unglaublich druckvoll was aus diesem Sub kommt! Spielte mit dem Setup für das SRX Top überraschend gut. Keine Phasenschweinereien. Bei elektronischer Musik wirkt der Subwoofer extrem "fett" vom Grundsound. (JBL typisch würde ich behaupten) Bei EBass wie Basedrum klingt es für mich sehr warm und angenehm. Da wir eher Rock/Metall beschallen war dies für uns auch ein Argument und über den DSP lässt sich der Sound ohnehin nach belieben variieren.
Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt eine Einschlagmutter für die Bluewheels mussten wir ersetzen, da sich diese mitgedreht hat beim Einschrauben. Daher kleiner Stern Abzug bei der Verarbeitung. So etwas sollte in der Preisklasse nicht vorkommen. Restliche Verarbeitung ist super und die Optik macht den Sub durchaus galatauglich!

Over the years i've been gradually upgrading my subs. Started a few years back with Behringer 1800D and then moved Turbosound IQ series. I have 4x Turbosound IQ18B, 2x IQ15B and IQ15/IQ12 tops to go with that. Been very happy with that setup, but i recently performed at a venue that had the JBL SRX-setup (828sp/835p) and i was blown away.

So Recently bought 2 of these JBL subs and O.M.G what a difference. Without any doubt, ONE of these JBL subs produce more deep wonderful bass at extremely high SPL that 4 of the Turbosound IQ18B's. Maybe even if add the 15's as well.

Also bought the SRX835p's to go with these subs. My Turbosound rig is now living the life as DJ's personal monitors instead, and some will still act as extra fills.

Super troubled and even amazed how naive i've been over the years. I seems that in the end, you really get what you are paying for....

este un echipament destul de mare, ocupa loc.....insa in momentul in care este in functiune uiti de cele 65 de kg.
Un sunet marca JBL, merita toi banii
