I have recently put a set of Jargar Superior strings on my cello. I previously used the Jargar Medium (blue) for the A and D, and Jargar Forte (red) for the G and D. I am finding the Superior have a clearer tone on all strings. I often have a problem with a metallic sound on a new C string, but after a short time the Superior played in and is much better. I am very happy with the result.

Die Saite klingt auf meinem Instrument viel zu dumpf, hat praktisch keine Brillianz, keine Resonanz die abstrahlt und klingt zu dünn. Gleichzeitig fühlt sie sich sehr steif an, es ist anstrengend einen voluminösen Klang zu erzeugen.

Mutmaßungen warum die Saite nicht klingt auf meinem Instrument:
- Mein Instrument hat evtl. einen wärmeren Ton als mir bewusst war, die Kombination mit einer "warmen" Saite passt nicht
- Mein Bogen ist eher auf der weichen, leichten Seite, eine steife Saite passt nicht dazu
- evtl liegt ein nicht zu erkennender Herstellungsfehler vor.

Im Gegensatz dazu kommt bei Versum Solo und Larsen Solo spielend leicht ein schöner, voluminöser Ton raus.
Wie schade, dass bei Thomann kein Widerrufsrecht für Saiten existiert. Man könnte auch gebrauchte bzw. neuwertige Saiten im Angebot haben, es gibt viele Streicher die den Wunsch haben, ein bisschen mit unterschiedlichen Saiten zu experimentieren.

No soy profesional, llevo tocando el cello algo más de 7 años, pero he de decir que no puedo estar más contenta con estas cuerdas. Me daba miedo afinar el cello yo misma por la cantidad de cuerdas que me quebraban, pero estas las ya me están durando más de 3 años. Sin duda volveré a comprarlas cuando necesite un recambio.
