Not worth the money

It does its job, and while it does its job, it is a nice cable, I suppose. It isn't sticky, so that's a huge plus. However, the build quality is extremely flimsy.

I've replaced this cable 2 times the last year and a half or so, and the weakest point is the connection between the jack and the cable. My current one has a stripped coating around the neck height area.

I expect better longevity for such a price.

Breaks easily

This cable is not well constructed. Although I went to great lengths to take extra care, I had two cables break in the same spot (where it connects to the ear piece) in 6 months.

Didn’t even last 10 gigs before it was ready for the trash again. I’m happy with my SD3, but a higher-quality cable really should be included. The Hörluchs Premium 2-pin cable is cheaper and appears to be much better built.

Ersatzkabel sollte immer dabei sein

Ich nutze die LivePro 4 Hörer von In Ear und kann zunächst sagen, dass das Kabel für StageDiver (Universelle Hörer) und LivePro (angepasste Hörer) identisch ist und somit dieser Artikel auch für die LivePro Serie genutzt werden kann. Ich spiele nun seit ca. 18 Jahren mit In Ear Systemen und wenn etwas kaputt geht, dann ist es eigentlich meist das Kabel. Daher sollte auch bei einem guten In Ear System das Ersatzkabel nie fehlen.

Ich musste bei meinen LivePro Hörern nach ca. 2 Jahren erstmalig das Kabel wegen eines Wacklers tauschen. Diese Kabel hier sind zwar sehr "stabil" aber gehen eben auch irgendwann kaputt bei intensiver und häufiger Nutzung.

Daher mein Rat: Immer ein Ersatzkabel im Gepäck zu haben, auch wenn dieses Kabel nicht unbedingt als günstig eingeordnet werden kann. ;)
