Good thumpy stuff

Wanted to try these to see whether the extra 10, 15, sometimes 20€ other manufacturers charge for their sets of flatwounds really makes a big difference. Honestly, can't feel much of a difference (though I'm not really the picky type).

These Höfner strings are wonderful, nice and warm, as thumpy as you like on attack but able to ring out nice and clear for quite some time if you let them.

Don't know yet how long they'll last, it's only been a couple of weeks but they seem solid and I don't think they'll need changing anytime soon (if ever). They're flats :)

Excellent value for money, get yourself a pair!
