As to be expected from Hercules, this is a sturdy and very stable stand. The folding and detachable top is a good design and very transportable. It has page holders that make it suitable for outdoor use, although the weight that provides good stability might be a bit much for busking. I find the stand itself also doubles as an alternative stand fot my Tablet/PC holder.

Sehr gut für Sternenkarten am Teleskop

Ich nutze den Notenständer für visuelle Beobachtungen am Teleskop um Sternenkarten direkt griffbereit neben dem Okular zu haben. Die breiten kugelförmigen Füße dieses Ständers bieten auch auf Wiesen einen guten Halt. Die drei Füße sind weit auseinander, so dass auch bei Unebenheiten eine sicherer Stand gewährleistet ist. Die Höhe läßt sich einhändig verstellen. Das Pult selber ist relativ schwer in der Neigung zu verstellen und hält dank zweier langer Stahlfedern auch dicke Sternenkarten wie die „Field Edition“ des Interstellarum Deep Sky Atlas zuverlässig. Das Pult läßt sich mit einem Mechanismus in der Mitte zusammenfalten und zusammen mit dem Ständer in der Tasche (separates Produkt) ins Gleichgewicht bringen, so dass der Ständer leicht zu tragen ist. Volle Punktzahl, so hatte ich es mir vorgestellt.

I’m overall very happy with the stand and would buy it again. The stand is very stable and robust, easy to adjust hight with the switch. It is foldable which makes it easy to store and transport. It supports the iPad Pro 12,9” inc case without any issues.

Pros: 1. Foldable 2. Stable 3. High enough (I’m 179 cm). 4. Robust/Supports weight of the iPad.

Cons: 1. it doesn’t go as low as I want (if you want to play sitting). 2. The sheet music holders (metal sticks) aren’t removable. So if you have no use for them and they are mostly in the way. 3. The yellow colour gives industrial/police tape feeling, I wish there were colour options.
