Headrush VX5

I bought being very excited about it, construction is amazing, very robust and everything, but the features just feel incomplete. You can only use one FX at a time, there is no way to put the delay on bpm or do tap bpm, it’s just milliseconds but you can’t set up an exact time, it seems to jump randomly on time, you also can’t adjust repetitions or the tone of the delay. The reverb is very muddy and you can’t do a predelay,or EQ it, kinda useless and sounds awful and overpowering, all of them.

It is a promising product but at the moment without a proper firmware update is pretty useless for most genres… Disappointing, will return it.

I am very disappointed because I ordered the original Headrush VX5 and I received a product that does not look like the original Headrush! Plus I tried to update the driver and the software system and what do you see? No change! A fake headrush!!! I had great confidence in buying from Thomann but I was disappointed!! I will not buy anything again if they sell fake products!!
I returned the product immediately

Das Gerät kommt wertig-robust daher und macht haptisch einen guten Eindruck.
Die Anordnung der Knöpfe und Tasten ist sehr übersichtlich.
Ansonsten ist das Teil sehr einfach und intuitiv zu bedienen und meiner Meinung nach für Leute konzipiert, die sich nicht viel mit Parametern und Einstellungen der Effekte beschäftigen wollen bzw. das nicht „brauchen“.

Hier einige Beispiele:
- Man kann die Lautstärke nicht per Preset speichern, nur 1x global.
- Effektreihenfolge nicht wählbar
- Keine Predelay-Einstellungsmöglichkeit beim Hall möglich
- Kein Equalizer
- Nur analoger XLR Mono-Out (über USB oder Kopfhörer auch Stereo)
- Im Allgemeinen sehr eingeschränkte Möglichkeiten, die Effektparameter anzupassen, sei es beim Kompressor oder beim Delay.

Wahrscheinlich liegt wohl das Hauptaugenmerk auf der Zielgruppe, welche das Autotune verwenden will.
Mir persönlich war der Harmonie- und Chorgesang sehr wichtig, das funktioniert recht gut.

Na ja, ich habe irgendwie mehr erwartet, definitiv keinen Wow-Moment gehabt!
Vielleicht kommen mit den zukünftigen Updates noch Optimierungen dazu, welche mich etwas mehr begeistern werden.
Werde es mal live testen und vielleicht nochmal berichten, hier.
