Una chitarra fo**utamente buona!

l'ho presa perchè non avevo al momento nessuna chitarra tipo "Les Paul" ed ho scelto questa dopo avere avuto un paio di anni fa il modello Custom Plus con i pickups EMG, ed era veramente ottima.
CONSEGNA: come sempre impeccabile
PRIMO CONTATTO: La chitarra ha un colore molto più vivido che nelle foto ma è senz'altro molto bella. Mi piace molto.
SETTAGGIO: Già buono all'arrivo. Ho solo leggermete abbassato il ponte per adeguare l'altezza delle corde al mio gusto, ma andava già bene così.
CARATTERISTICHE: su tutto; i pickups Tesla VR- Nitro sono veramente ottimi (e costano quasi come metà della chitarra) le meccaniche Grover sono morbide, fluide e molto precise.
con il capotasto in grafite non ha nessun problema di accordatura.
COIL SPLIT: come già successo in altri modelli provati con i Tesla, non è molto incisivo ed il volume (soprattutto sui puliti) si abbassa abbastanza. Per me non è un problema in quanto uso poco questa funzione.
Manico slim C e radius da 14. Molto buono e facile da suonare.
Tastiera in palissando (!!) e tasti medium Jumbo in acciaio...
CONCLUSIONI: Chitarra che vale come minimo il doppio del suo prezzo. Si rifà sfacciatamente alle LTD 256 e 1000 e, a mio giudizio, supera la 256 pur costando meno della metà.
Se cercate un suono Les Paul non è la vostra scelta. Se cercate un suono bello, potente ma chiaro e definito... è la chitarra giusta. Consigliata!

Adoro questa chitarra per la sua versatilità ed il suo suono. Questa è la mia 4 Harley Benton e non me ne sono mai pentito. Non c'è giorno che non la suoni ha sostituito la mia Fender.
Non sono un musicista espertissimo ma per il mio livello è più che abbastanza.
Non mi stanco mai di lei.

I currently have 4 guitars and been playing for over 30 years, going through many guitars cheap and expensive before settling on what I have now, a Telecaster guy looking for a single cut. I'm a bit of a guitar snob, so was dubious about getting this.

The finish is actually prettier than I was expecting, it's not in your face yellow and more a levely honey yellow, the finish and binding on the body, neck and headstock is flawless, there are no issues with sharp fret edges they all feel fine. The Grover tuners are smooth and precise, after tuning it also came intonated requiring me to do no setting up, which is a nice thing.

The electronic switches and pots feel OK and the chrome hardware is nice.

So, I plugged into and Orange micro terror, no FX, just the amp, it sounds great, but I wanted some FX in there so I then went through my Boss GX 100, found myself playing for longer than I intended.

If I was going to criticise anything I think the pickups could do with tiny bit more clarity, that said;

It sounds great whatever I plug it into, the finish and quality is excellent and well worth the money. If you're looking for a single cut guitar this won't disappoint, I'm no longer a guitar snob.

Exceeded my expectations in every way. This is my first ever Harley Benton guitar and shopping experience with Thomann, and I'm sure this won't be the last. As for the guitar, the build quality and body finish is really nice, nicely set up, no fret buzz out of the box, good action, but I lowered it a bit for myself. Strings were oxidized a bit, but it's also not a big issue and a totally understandable. Just change it to the gauge and brand you're used to. Sounds, feels, and plays like a much more expensive guitar. The only thing I didn't understand was the headstock finish design, mine came with custom III text instead of the symbol, there are Lemon Flame SC Custom IIIs with the symbol on the headstock out there. Custom III typed in this font was the only thing that made this guitar look cheap in my opinion. Thank you to the team at Harley Benton and Thomann for keeping it affordable.
