Arrivata 3gg dall'ordine, imballo integro, grazie Thomann.
La chitarra è veramente bella, appena tirata fuori ho accordato e provato subito, qualche piccola sbavatura nei tasti, ci sta, risolvibile in breve tempo. Per il resto tutto ok, si suona bene anche con le corde originali che cambierò stasera, settaggio perfetto per me, un piacere davvero.
Leggera, colore molto bello, volume e tono si regolano bene. A questo prezzo darei 6 stelle per il fatto di essere definita "economica".

Un regalo per un amico mancino

Per i mancini che amano le offset, la vita è davvero dura... Quando abbiamo scoperto le Harley Benton, un mio amico è rimasto folgorato da questa chitarra e gli ho dato una mano per l'acquisto.
Visivamente è fantastica, i tasti sono in ordine e la verniciatura è impeccabile. I pickup non sono estremamente brillanti come nella JM californiana, ma credo che questo sia un pregio (specie sui suoni distorti).
Ho provato a suonarla con le corde al contrario e mi è piaciuta anche così!
Il ponte è fisso, il che per i tradizionalisti può essere una limitazione. Però garantisce stabilità nell'accordatura e sustain.

Excellent guitar after a few tweaks

I really like the sound of the guitar (my first Harley Benton): the pickups are actually much more versatile than I expected. I love the neck, both the profile and the matte finish are really nice - it probably feels as good as the best guitars I've ever held in my hand. Finish overall is done very nicely and no issues can be found there.

There were some negative sides as well - it's impossible to properly intonate, even after flipping the saddle on the G string (which isn't really doable on the bridge the guitar comes with as the clip holding the saddle screw will deform once you remove and replace it). It seems like the bridge is positioned too close to the neck.

My guitar needed a fret leveling out of the box.

I'd also love if they'd compensate the Tune-O-Matic style bridge saddle slots to match the radius of the fingerboard, otherwise it's hard to get a low action without the two middle strings buzzing. It's an easy thing to fix though by cutting the slots in the saddles lower with nut files.

I wouldn't recommend it as the first guitar unless you are willing to take it to a decent luthier for a proper set up and fret work.
