A parte l'ovvia motivazione di avere lo strumento con la sua brava custodia dedicata, credo che complessivamente questa sia mal posizionata economicamente.

Ha le caratteristiche di una custodia che si posiziona intorno ai 100 euro o anche meno e la differenza credo che debba essere considerata per il marchio applicato e il fatto che sia appunto dedicata.

Sfortunatamente ha anche una finitura, soprattutto nella posa del rivestimento esterno, più approssimativa di quanto si possa trovare in una custodia generica appartenente a una fascia di prezzo più bassa e credo che il suo punto a favore sia in effetti solo il match con lo strumento al quale ognuno può attribuire il valore che ritiene opportuno.

I bought this for my Gretsch Honey Dipper resonator. Although the guitar fits well into the case, the case itself is very poorly made. The interior is lined with cheap looking synthetic fur instead of the velvet material found in higher quality (but no less expensive) cases. This material was poorly glued to the interior of the case, and in several places the 'fur' was actually matted with gobs of glue. Despite being brand new, the lining is already pulling away from the casing and it's clear I will need to repair it at some point in the future. I would return it but the cost to ship it back to Germany from New Zealand makes this impractical. The shoddy quality of this case - in addition to the problems I have had with the instrument I bought it for - have soured my opinion of Gretsch significantly. None of this reflects badly on Thomann.

The case was made for Gretsch by TKL. I bought it for what it is intended for, so the guitar fits perfectly, but you won't expect anything else, will you?
The overall quality is a little disappointing though. It?s not a high end thing, but not a low-priced one. Outside material seems to be cheap and ?plastic?, it?s got a simple plastic handle and only three locks. I?ve noticed some finish issues: small glue traces in and outside, the inside plush unglued in one place on the cover. Nothing serious and easy to repair, but for the price you could expect a little more.
I can only compare it to the standard Epiphone dreadnought case (that costs less, anyway), and, sorry to say that, the G6296 is much worse.
Btw. the inside plush is REALLY purple, nothing in common with the pictures :)
