A great guitar with an amazing colour that looks even better in person.

Not the cheapest for an Epiphone but the features (stock locking tuners, coil splitting for both pickups and out-of-phase switch etc.) make it worth it. The overall quality of the guitar is pretty good, no visible problems for me, but I have to say: the setup out of the box was, as expected, not perfect. Although after I set it up it became just right for me. The modern weight relief definitely helps but the weight is still noticeable. The cutaway is not as practical as it should be, but that is excusable. A great feature is the strap buttons. They are diamond-shaped and prevent the strap from escaping even at an angle. Lastly, the sound is super versatile and has definitely met my expectations.

Good but not great

The aesthetics of the guitar are good but the overall quality is not on par with the price tag it carries. its understandable that most guitars don't come with a full setup but it should be enough that its playable out of the box. One of the knobs was crooked and the switches and the knobs just felt cheap and not justifiable for the price of the guitar. if these issues are addressed by the manufacturer, I would get the same guitar.

Looks like a million dolar

The package was protected perfectly, two boxes, gig bag and guitar wrapped in additional white layer. Stuff from Thomman delivered it almost immediately after purchase. This is my second order and I am very satisfied with it. Guitar was perfect out of box, it looks flawless. Okay, it wasn't in the tune but that's normal after transport all thw way from Germany to Serbia.
Surely, I will continue to buy from Thomman.

Top Sound, hammer Look, aber...

Das Positive zuerst: Die Gitarre sieht umwerfend aus und der Sound ist so wie ich ihn erwartet habe. Auch die zusätzlichen Push/Pull-Funktionen sind nützlich und die Locking-Mechaniken sind ein Luxus über den ich mich stets freue. Das asymetrische Halsprofil fühlt sich auch wirklich gut an.

Im Detail stellt sich Ernüchterung ein: Die Bundstäbchen waren scharfkantig, diese musste ich zunächst entgraten. Außerdem sind die Bünde nicht gut abgerichtet, da werde ich für eine gute Saitenlage nachhelfen müssen. Für die Oktavreinheit der g-Saite musste ich den Reiter in der Bridge umdrehen, da sonst nicht genug Spiel zur Einrichtung vorhanden war. Außerdem rasseln die Schrauben in der Bridge fürchterlich, da werde ich mich auch noch mit Tricks kümmern müssen oder die Bridge komplett austauschen.

Bereue ich den Kauf? Nein. Würde ich die Gitarre nochmal kaufen? Eher nicht, da ich bei dem Preis mehr erwartet habe. Für den gleichen Preis habe ich letztes Jahr eine PRS SE gekauft, die von Werk aus wirklich tiptop war und von Anfang an Spaß gemacht hat und nicht erst in stundenlanger Arbeit aufbereitet werden musste.
