After the Canyon comes the Grand Canyon!!
Asterios 29.04.2020
I have bought the first (original) Canyon and I like it (ordered from Thomann, my favorite music shop!)
I remember, after demoing it, that I wrote a message on EHX (Electro Harmonix) official forum, asking for a better-stereo version of the Canyon, suggesting the name Grand Canyon!
And they did it!! The new version is named Grand Canyon!
So, after I saw it, it was time to order it (from Thomann, again!)
Let's see what I found!
Pros:
- Stereo outputs (at last!)
- Many effects types (12)
- User can store some settings (presets!)
- Advanced looper (up to 16 minutes!)
- Many amazing delay sounds (some of the best!)
Cons:
- Some small (tiny) knobs & labels (difficult to use-read!)
- No midi or USB connection (no update is possible!)
Conclusion: I liked Canyon (original) and I like Grand Canyon even more! It's not perfect but it's an amazing delay & looper machine (2 pedals in 1 unit), and, now, in stereo!! :-)

Very high quality effects processor for musical experimentation
Pavl Dirham 13.01.2021
Bought this processor a few months ago and have been using it extensively.
This pedal has great modern features for looping, including a very useful "undo/redo" option. 16 minutes of recording time lets you loop whole songs or compositions. There are many different effects, each with multiple adjustable options for a virtually inexhaustible sonic palette. And, personally, it looks very nice.
There are some issues, however. Naturally, all the options do not make it easy to use for live playing, although this is solved with the choice to make presets. One actual drawback would be that it is not a true bypass pedal and this does effect the sound quality a little bit. It's not as compressed as say going through a Line6 DL4, but it is audible when you listen carefully.
All in all, I rate this processor pedal very highly, but there is still a little room for improvement.
