Having only played cello for five months I started with the Classic Cello outfit from Thomann which included carbon bow. I felt I now needed a step up with the bow and on recommendation from an experienced player I purchased the Dorflier D6 bow. The weight suits my playing better and the sound is much improved also enhanced my practice time. I have promised myself when I am ready for a step up in my Cello it will be from Thomann....it will certainly make a good outing going from UK to Germany when the time is right!

Ich spiele jetzt seit etwas mehr als zwei Jahren Cello (Das Roth&Junius 4/4) und als mir dann der gratis mitgelieferte Kompositbogen zerbrochen ist, wollte ich unbedingt einen Holzbogen.
Der Dörfler fiel mir als erstes durch seina saubere Verarbeitung auf und dadurch, dass er hervorragend ausbalanciert ist. Den Kompositbogen musste ich immer sehr weit am Frosch halten - mit dem Dörfler war die Haltung viel entspannter. Er ist schnurgerade (also keine rechts/links-Krümmung).
Ja auch beim Spielverhalten war der Unterschied zum Komposit gravierend: ganz ohne Druck, nur durch das Eigengewicht des Bogens kommt schon ein satter Ton, was ein, für mich als blutigen Anfänger, deutlich vergößertes Dynamikspektrum ermöglicht. Kein Durchrutschen, kein seitliches Weggknicken.
Mein Fazit:
Ich bin vollauf zufrieden. Und die Bogenqualität macht deutlich mehr aus als ich dachte.
