Death by Audio Evil Filter - Fuzz Filter

Sound wise, this thing is just awesome! The filter is very handy and sounds excellent regardless of resonance settings (that 666Hz is kind of a sweet spot for fuzz!), and the Evil Fuzz in its square mode is something special. It's not the tone so much are the response-it just takes your notes and burns them up, then carries them forever in this intense sustain!!!
Honestly I loved playing with this thing, even just for that particular fuzz flavour, but it is just way too big to keep on my board so I'm returning it and managed to get one of the limited edition standalone Evil Fuzz units instead.
If you definitely want the filter and have the space then this pedal is well worth considering, and honestly if I kept a smaller collection of pedals I would give this one space, it is really superb and the filter means you can tune your fuzz into many settings between pleasant and useable, and all out nasty!
it's a beast that will please doomsters and anyone into heavy sounds.

Mise devant un léger overdrive, le son est tranchant comme le couteau électrique de mamie qui découpe de rôti de porc. Vous voyez ? Le son découpe tel un fuseau laser.

Ça n'est pas un son fuzz facile à dompter et "passe-partout". Je songe d'ailleurs à acheter une pédale plus "docile" mais je garde ce Filtre Maléfique.

Filtre qui d'ailleurs fonctionne bien avec une pédale d'expression, si possible 10k Ohms afin d'avoir un contrôle régulier du talon vers l'orteil. La mienne en 25k Ohms n'agit qu'à environ la moitié de la course, ce qui limite mon exploitation du filtre. Mais bon... On fait tous des erreurs ;)
