The best nickel-wound strings for bass

I bought this for my Ibanez BTB1826. Daddario NYXLs are what Ibanez has been installing lately in their mid to upper range basses instead of Elixirs and I totally understand the reason. They last almost as long as coated strings but they sound like the best nickel-rounds you can think off and they feel amazing.

I have been using regular XL for decades but after using this is hard to look back, they are a little pricier but they last way longer so that compensates.

The only bad it they don't make Balanced Tension sets and for my 4 string nickels they are a must so I'm staying with XL there for now.

As it was said before, the lower B string sounds less brigt than other. Can't complain about other strings sound though. Tension is good imo

Hallo Basser, ich habe die Saiten auf einem Ibanez SRff806 seit gut 2 Wochen aufgezogen und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Klarheit und trotzdem gewissen Wärme. Sie haben, eine für mich perfekte Spannung, nicht zu fest und auch nicht zu labberig. Die Saiten kommen in schöner Verpackung mit Sticker dabei. Sehr positiv muss ich die Extra Longscale Länge erwähnen, da andere Longscale Sätze bei der B Saite nicht ausreichen lang für den Fanned Fret waren. Ich bin mal auf die Haltbarkeit gespannt, wenn diese auch noch gut ist, werden das mein neuer Standard Satz. Preis ist meiner Meinung nach auch voll in Ordnung. Bassige Grüße
