Da buon rocckettaro vi dico che questo pedale/DI di Ampeg è perfetto ed indispensabile per avere sempre il suono perfetto, fa uscire dal mix il tuo basso e gli da la presenza giusta sempre. Bellissime e infallibili sono le distorsioni che si fanno sentire nel momento giusto appena schiacci il bottoncino! Ottimo lavoro Ampeg!

I never played an actual ampeg head, only simulation on pc or pedalboard models. Eventually i got bored of this and i decided to assemble a "fisical rig" with this preamp, a couple of pedals, a power amp and a good cabinet. So far i'm very happy; the preamp sounds beautiful, the eq on the mids does a great job and the overall timbre is rich and with a rock sound that i was looking for. It has also some great features, a balanced output with IR and a aux in, the connectivity is wide but i prefer the use as a straight preamp.

I just got this a day ago. It give a wide array for tones. With the cab simulation.. Waoo waoo waoo.. Totally awesome. Finally.. No need to carry any Amp. Been waiting for this.. I have 5 string Warwick Corvette. When you plug this guitar into the ampeg. It's is totally insane. Perfect combination. Depth and highs and the swipable mid. A must have. Highly recommend. Don't think twich. Get it asap.

DI with IR’s

Ampeg pedal preamp with built-in and user loadable IR ‘s. It’s sounds good but not great, the factory IR’s are dull, I think it’s because of the EQ (hi pass and low pass filters should be switched off in the software). With 3rd party IR it starts to sound better, however the BassRig still beats its. Ampeg V3 head that allegedly utilizes the same preamp circuitry sounds phenomenal, so it must be the DI/IR section that makes the difference. Build quality is excellent.
