It's my first djembe, even tho I have played on a couple ones before, but I must say that this one is just a whole new level. You can say that it's worth the money, even tho I'm no expert, and that the sound is marvelous and just catchy! The outside finish is lovely, even tho it has some 'though edges', understandable due to the fact that it's made by hand (if you want something perfect, just buy some djembe from Toca or Remo, made by machines). It's totally amazing, from the outside, to the inside. You get exactly what you hope, and the shipping is really well done, with the right stuffing on the box to prevent any damage to the material.
Final thoughts? Buy it, you won't regret it, at least if you're a newbie like me!

This Djembe is exactly what I was expecting from a drum of this weight and size. I'ts good for beginners and more advanced drummers. Sound nice on all it surface. Deep bass in the middle and high on the edges just how would you expect from a proper Djembe. Good quality and price.

Sehr angenehm finde ich auch das relativ leichte, somit transportfreundliche Gewicht dieser Djembe (Weichholztrommel) von nur etwa 6 kg bei dennoch prägnantem, vollem Sound. Sie liegt mit 62 cm Höhe zwischen Größe "M" und "L", die Spielfläche von rd. 32 cm Durchmesser ist ausreichend groß bemessen. Zum Nachspannen bei Bedarf ist genügend Restschnur vorhanden. Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, ich bin mehr als zufrieden mit diesem Modell.
